The candles distributed by Cereria LAC srl are entirely produced in Italy, at our own facilities, by dedicated, qualified personnel.We employ the best materials available on the market. The raw material, pure refined paraffin, a 100% cotton wick, and colorants and pigments specially developed for candles, to give off no harmful substances when burned.
It is important to keep in mind that candles are a safe product and only become dangerous if used improperly. We have therefore listed a few hints below to help you fully enjoy the warmth and intensity that a lit candle can create.
- - Before lighting the candle, trim the wick to approx. 1.5 cm.
- - Never leave a lit candle unattended
- - Keep the flame away from flammable materials such as curtains, rugs, decorations, etc.
- - Keep out of reach of children and animals.
- - Keep away from heat sources.
- - Avoid exposing the flame to drafts, since this could make the candle drip
- - Burn the candle on a heat-proof surface and in a suitable candle holder or candlestick.
- - Never keep a candle burning for more that 2/4/6 consecutive hours (depending on its shape).
- - Remove any wax on the edge of the candle before relighting so that it will burn properly.
- - Leave a distance of approx. 10 cm between candle flames.
Moreover, to guarantee a high-quality product and comply with European environmental and health regulations, our company has worked with the “Associazione Cera d’Italia” association to:
- - Prevent the use of lead-core wicks;
- - Prevent the use of paraffin containing benzene;
- - Prevent the use of child labor in the production of candles.
